Fuchsia hedges are also a great addition to native hedgerows and are good for the environment. It attracts an abundance of wildlife such as bees and butterflies.

This hedge is suitable all year round and has various characteristics that will bring added interest to your garden. It has a quick growth rate and can reach 24 inches a year so don’t worry about cutting too much. The best time to prune a fuchsia hedge is when the hedge is dormant during the winter or early spring before new leaves appear. It is recommended that you cut the hedge back around 2 – 4 inches above ground level.
