The spring show is unparalleled: immense, pure white, single blossoms measuring up to 6cm across open simultaneously with the emerging foliage. The striking contrast between the snow-white petals and the deep bronze-red of the young leaves is spectacular. As the seasons progress, the large leaves mature into a rich summer green before taking on warm, golden-yellow tints in autumn.
